School plays a major role in career building. It helps the kids in development of skills, cognitive abilities and lays the foundation for a bright future.

While in school, its important that you identify your area of interests, skills and aptitude. A detailed strength and weakness analysis is important. You need to do your research about the different streams and the minute details associated with them.

Do not choose any stream under any kind of pressure or because of your peer group or for your friendship with them. Your career should be the most important thing to you, everything else should be secondary. You can always talk to your parents, teachers, or anyone you feel comfortable with about your career choices if you feel confused.

Another thing to decide while you are in 10th is the board of education, i.e, CBSE, ICSE, SSC, etc. You need to decide which one is the best fit for you.
